loader came loose

Ok I find this really odd but the loader bolts came loose today the bolts on the right side were loose I tightened them but I bet they need aligned how?

I don't know why the bolts came loose, but I wouldn't worry too much. Just drop the loader off...get your loader manual (if you have one), and follow the procedure in the manual. If the holes had been slotted, then you may have had a concern for alignment of the loader.

I would replace the bolts though...

Do examine the female threads (if any) in the mounting holes.

After you get all of them torqued, follow the schedule in the loader manual to check and re torque as required

If your having problems with the loader reataching and getting the front plate over the weight bracket and other problems you can loosen all the bolts for the masts and front bracket until they are hand tight. Then you will attach the loader to get everything lined up and reattach. I had to use this method with both of my tractors when I put the 430 loader on.

Thanks for the information. Sorry that you had to look at my profile. Yes it is a 4410 with the 430 loader. I updated my sig so you don't have to dig for the information.

I quickly looked at the loader manual the bolt torque was obvious but I didn 't see alignment procedures but I was in a hurry. I will check tomorrow. I could see where the alignment has slipped between 1/8th and 1/4 in. I have not removed the bolts but they are large carriage bolts. I was very surprised that only 2 bolts per side hold the loader on the tractor. I also noticed that the post on the right side moves right to left as pressure is applied and removed. nothing appears cracked but I can tell something is not in the right place since the other side doesn't move.

This must be a great engineering trick to handle the weight and pressure without a lot more structure to support it.
