I'm having a hard time finding the ratings for a 4110 and 410 Loader combination. Any info?

Also, I'm assuming that a 4110 with 410 FEL is a good bit stronger than a 2210 with 210?

Thanks

...and that makes for a significant difference. I've owned both, and both are capable. The increased hydraulic flow also makes the 410 loader noticably faster to operate.

If you could do everything with the 2210 you wouldn't need those bigger machines /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just took delivery on a 4110 w/fel and 60"mmm about an hour ago /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and the dealer told me that it should lift 850# w/out much problem, but make sure you have a ballast box or some weight on the back to lift the max capacity.

I've a 4010 with 410 loader, 49" bucket. I hauled 19.5 tons of #5 gravel with it recently and figured out how to handle it to fill the bucket to the brim. The rear tires are loaded with windshield washer fluid. I did the work with an old JD M soil ripper (cut to 50" instead of original 60") on the 3 pt and a couple 4x4s and a couple bags of mulch on top the 2x2 bar in addition to the 7 chisel plows. Felt it needed it going down my trail that has a slight slant left down the hill as it crosses the hill. Before I put the mulch bags onto the bar, I had the right rear wheel tilt up on me once as I lifted the bucket slightly to dump it. With the 2 bags on the bar, it was fine. The soil ripper stuff is probably around 200 #. The bags were 40# each, so a total of near 300# in addition to the rear tire loading.

I'd get SOMETHING to put on the 3 pt, a ballast box, old ripper like mine or BH, whatever. If you're lifting mulch or other light stuff, OK, but with gravel you need some added weight back there.

So.... If you tokk delivery an hour ago, why are you sitting at your computer and not behind the wheel? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dark? Obviously one of your 1st projects is to follow all the threads on ROPS mounted aux lights. Dark is no excuse. Hunger...now that's another matter. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As for 410 capacity, I moved about 300 yd.s of "fill" (courtesy of the Town Road dept.'s ditch cleaning), 85 yd.'s of #5 stone, and 30 yd.s of topsoil (along with uncounted yards of back hill I've been cutting away) last Fall. The bucket was brimming on each load. I really liked the feel of the BH on as counter weight. Just go slow (!!!), seatbelt and ROPS, always, and be very careful on any incline. Pucker factor goes up real fast when the tires find "free air".
