I would say check valves. I am guessing the spools are running top to bottom in your picture?

It's called load checks.

Let's say you're slowly pulling the lever to lift the loader, there is a point that till the pressure equalizes to lift the loader, it could drop and sometimes can be dangerous. These load checks prevent that by not letting the fluid going back.

Thank you for the replies. That’s pretty much what I figured. There is most likely a spring and bearing located in there?
I have an earlier post where I was trying to locate the beyond pressure port on a very similar, if not the same valve body. (Or anywhere on a Ford New Holland 2120) And I dont see any markings in the castings like a “N”or other identification.
I was hoping maybe one of those cap screws could take a PB sleeve as I dont any other open ports. Do you guys think this valve body just doesnt have a PB port, or its being occupied?
Thx -Dez

I think the 3 ports on the left side of your picture is where you will want to look. You might have to remove the valve to see the markings. One should be power, one tank and one PB. It probably will be marked with a C or Y.

Sometimes there will be more than one T port or tank port. T2 will be the location where a power beyond sleeve will screw in. The inside of the sleeve is threaded for a power beyond hose.

Sometimes, depending upon the manufacturer and country of origin the term High Pressure Carry Over is used (HPCO) which is just another way of saying power beyond.

Going back and looking at your first photo, I see 7 ports on the valve. If there are indeed 7 then one has to be a power beyond. Valves without power beyond only have 6 hoses. 4 for the loader cylinders + an IN from the pump and a T return to tank.

Thank you all for your responses. The saga continues. I will post the final remedy for future readers.
