I have a ford 1700 tractor 770 front end loader. My controls for the loader started acting up so I looked into getting mine rebuilt or buying a new one. From past experience buying parts for my tractor..... they are crazy expensive and probably not available any more....grrrr
I was shopping in equipment store the other day and mentioned this problem to one of the sales reps. He seemed to know a little about older CUT tractors and suggested that I should get a Prince Control Valve p/n RD522CCAAB1. I saw on online that was quiet a bit cheaper so I bought it.
I installed it today and I can only get the cylinders to move one direction regardless of which direction the handle is in. I have a feeling I bought the wrong type of valve but I am hoping someone here has experience in my situation.
Prince RD522CCAA5A4B1 Directional Control Valve, Two Spool, 4 Ways, 3 Positions, Tandem Center, Cast Iron, 3000 psi, Lever Handle, 25 gpm, In/Out: 3/4" NPTF, Work 1/2" NPTF
TIA
