Loader for 2210 - 210, 200x, 200cx?

My local dealer has quoted me a 2210 with the 200x loader. I notice the JD website references the 210 loader with the 2210. I've noticed posts on this forum referncing the 200cx. Can some one explain the difference of the three FEL's?

the bestican tell from what i have been told the 200x and cx replaced the 210. the 200x cannot be easily removed from the tractor been there done that get the 200cx. cx cost more but is the better buy in the long run wiil handle more load. if your dealer doesnot have a 210 it might be a problem getting one been there done that . 210 and cx are basicly same loader while the x is the cheaper model. my cx will be here some day hope this helps.

As mentioned, go with the 200CX....but....if it were me, and I'll admit to not knowing very much about the new loader, I would ask my dealer to try to locate a 210/53". The reason for this is I just don't like the look of those mounting stands on the tractor all the time (not only do they stick out, but they stand up what looks about a foot). /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I've got the CX and it is an awesome loader, (the 210 has some pretty strong support as well. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif)

The X is a permanent mount and cannot be removed from the tractor. Now for many people that is never really a problem, but tractors behave dramatically differently with loaders removed, and you can have the CX off in about 30 seconds. That opens up some options.

Get the CX or 210, or you could be wishing to take the loader off some day and end up with a half hour project AND trying to rig up some stands. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

This is a true story, but my wife actually bought the tractor for me. I had mentioned the CX to her in passing one night and she negotiated a price for a 2210 w/ CX loader while I was at work.

The dealer tried to get me to go take an X claiming there was no difference, because they had already negotiated a price and he probably wanted to dump the cheaper loader on me. I said I could just as easily go to the dealer up the road, and wow that seemed to turn that conversation around! He was very ready to work with us after that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bottom line the 210 and CX are quick mount. The X is permanent mount.

I can't comment on the X or CX but I have a 210 on mine with the 54" bucket. So far since I've bought it I have done probable 80% loader work and am very impressed with the loader. Definately get the bucket level indicator.
I've only had the loader off a couple of times, (both just to show off), and it comes off nice and slick

2210 Delivered a few days ago with the 200cx FEL. I am very impressed with how quick and easy it comes off/ goes on! Well worth the extra money. Tractor is amazing. I've put 8 hours on it already. Much better than expected.

Congratulations, glad to see you went with the CX. You'll be happy with that decision for a long time!!!

Being familiar with bigger machines it took me a while, but I suspect you'll quickly learn about ballast. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
