I have a co-worker who has a bx2200 and was looking to buy a loader for it and he has found 2 locally and he's not sure what to do,I said I would ask you guy's right here. Here's the deal an older style Kubota loader the one the control valve stays with the loader when removed,it is new at a dealer who will install it tax included for $2200.or a new woods loader, slightly more lifting power than the Kubota, installed for about $2000.I,m not sure if the woods goes on and off as easy as the Kubota?Any other thought's on the woods. He also knows he can get the new style loader from Kubota but he looking to save some bucks if possible.
6 of this or half a dozen of the other..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
When I was shopping Kubota's a fews ago one Kubota dealer priced me a BX2230 & a B7510 both with Woods FEL's. When I questioned him why he siad that the Woods FEL was as good as the OEM but was cheaper. He said they sold quite a few configured w/Woods add-ons such as FEL's and BH's. Of course they were also a Woods dealer too.....
In the end I opted to go OEM w/a BX23 but would consider a Woods if I had an older BX and wanted to add an FEL.
Questin, with the Woods solution does the control valve stay with the tractor when the FEL is dismounted? If so I would probably go that route....
