I have since found out (quick web search) that ISO10533 (SAE J38) standards require a lockout device to prevent the loader from being dropped while servicing in the raised position. Unfortunately, a copy of the actual standards require $$$ payment. So, I'll stop here. (And having purchased ISO documentation in the past for bid proposals, they are rather expensive).
