The information I have is that the "fix" for the KL130 has not yet been released. Consequently, the letters to KL130 owners have not yet been mailed.

I believe that is correct. There were several variations in dimensions of the torque tube in different lots of KL130 loaders and they needed to go back to create either more types of repair kits or one universal one (not sure which). In any case, that is the basic reason for the KL130 program delay.

It is a shame that they don't convey that message to their customers. The CK20 owners are gettiing letters, but if I am correct, Highbeam first identified this problem roughly 15 months ago in February of 2006 and he has a CK30 with KL130 loader. Still the CK30 owners are asking questions and getting no answers. They simply are sitting back and seeing that CK20 owners, who identified their loader cracks later get serviced sooner.

You'd think Kioti could send out a "form letter" explaining the issue. What is the cost of postage . . . 39-cents?

Nah, communicating openly and effectively with customers (or dealers) is against corporate policy. Let'm wait in the dark seems to be the attitude.

To be fair, I don't think that is due to the customer service staff at all. I spoke to at least one rep whose hand was slapped for openly discussing the status of the repair program with me just to help me understand why they kept missing self imposed deadlines. I don't know who the senior management is but they behave like ostriches. I have my fingers crossed that with enough time Rick Wallace will help change their tune.

I've not heard a word from anybody on the issue.

In topics such as this thread KiotiJohn(CK20 owner) was a real asset.
He was a great Liaison between Kioti Corp. and the Kioti owners.

He is sorely missed.

I think KJ added a lot but honestly he did often take too rosy a view of things and was quite often too defensive about Kioti problems. I do miss his knowledge and willingness to help however. I am very hopeful that Rick Wallace will be able to influence the corporate types. If just 10% of Rick's attitude towards customers rubs off on them we'll all be better off.
