Tractor
1987 john deere 855 sold and bought a YT235 Yanmar, love this tractor
This rotation valve under front of seat on my Yt235 2017 model I have for one never touched or adjusted. But I tried on other days previously and I can't move this hand knob either way. Would you say it looks backed off all the way because the blue color is showing? Anybody else with a, Yt235 can pop a, picture on here to show me the difference of screwed in and out? I just
don't want to break it off if I have to use some force to break it's seal..

It wants Write and Read, on storage permission to post, a picture.
How, do I grant permission on here?

That flow control valve under the seat adjusts the speed the 3 pt hitch lowers and if fully closed, it will lock the 3 pt hicht in place, preventing it from lowering. It can still raise at full speed at all times, regardless of this valve position though.

This flow control valve won't affect anything else in the hydraulic system. If not used frequently, it will seize over time and can be tricky to get it going again.

Here I deleted my old tractorbynet app and added it back in. So, I hope you can see Pic. Also thank you for clearing the air on what ackually the valve operates, the 3 point only I mistook the valve as to be also controlling the loader function.

On my 2 tractors turning that knob clockwise closes the valve locking the 3-point from lowering anymore.

From your picture, I'm only guessing here, it looks open to me.

It ackually looks like it's unscrewed because in deduction if it was closed the 3 point wouldn't go down. Can you give me an idea as to how to twist clockwise should I add slight heat to base of housing where screw is inserted?

Spray some sort of lube on it and try to rotate using a wrench on that nut behind the knob to give you more leverage. Doesn't look like it's stuck too badly.

And yes, if it was all the way in, the 3 pt wouldn't lower at all or very slowly.
