I finally decided to try it. The dealer said that you could do it in 5 mins, and I did. I took the loader off of my TC21d to mow today. Sure made mowing a lot easier. It took me about 5 mins after reading the instructions. I then mowed the yard in record time. The TC21 was built for my type of yard. After I finished the yard I put the loader back on the tractor in less then 5 mins. It was a very good day,and I need one of them every once and a while. So someone in Pa is smiling right now. Jinman, I've always heard it said real men don't read instructions. It was a pleasure to work with this loader after I did. I just think about the forum member , that posted a something about pressure in the connections. I didn't want that to happen to me. Went off, and on like a charm. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Kent

Where did you have the loader sitting while you mowed? Was it sitting in the sun? That can sometimes cause pressure to build up. Spencer200 recommended putting the bucket in full dump position to remove the FEL while the instructions just mention sitting the bucket flat on the ground. Which did you do?

MikePa, I built a platform for my loader out of treat lumber. I'm looking for something to cover it when I'm not using it. Sheds, and such are full. I put the loader flat, but before I unhooked the hoses, I went through all the loader postiions four times. Loader ended up flat, but was in the dump position at one point. Worked like I knew what I was doing. Kent

Kent,

It's about time/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif. I leave my bucket flat when I disconnect the FEL. It sits in a more stable position than full dumped. The reason people are dumping the bucket is to prevent it from being pushed when they remount it. When I go to remount the FEL, if the tractor is pushing it, I will dump the bucket so it grabs in.

Regarding the hyrdaulic pressure building up. I had this happen to me. Don't leave the FEL in the sun if you can help it. If you can't get a quick connect back on, get your adjustable wrenches out of the toolbox & take the fitting off the loader side. This will relieve the pressure. Reassemble & go dig.

Hazmat, Thanks for the tip. I'm planning on building a shelter for my FEL. I don't want any reason for it not to last me forever. Thanks for all the other replies too. I got the notion to take it off after you mentioned how easy it was. Kent

Thanks Jim, How's your problem going? I hated to post a good thing, when things are going so bad for you. I guess its like anything, you can get good, and bad in any brand. Thanks Kent

Kent! Always better to hear good rather than bad. Makes the bad go easier (most times.) Haven't heard from the local dealer after he picked it up. No news = good news?

Again - I stand in awe of your FEL courage. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
