I have a DK 45 with loader and I can't get the loader to raise or lower and curl at the same time. Is it not suppose to do this? It only has 6 hrs on it.

Most loader will do both functions at the same time.

Use some other angle other than 0,90,180, 270.

If you use an angle of say 200 degrees, you should be able to raise the lift arms and tilt the bucket.

Yes, it should do this. But keep in mind the curl and lift function will be slower than if you had only activated one function at a time. If you throttle up the engine to at least around 2000 rpm, the hydraulic pump will put out full flow, and can make this a bit faster. On your KL401 loader since it has larger diameter cylinders than my KL351 loader, but the flow rate from the pump is still about 10gpm, they will fill slower as there is more space to have to pump fluid into. The upside to the larger cylinders is your loader can lift more than mine, but it is slower than mine.

Thanks, I thought it should. I will give it another try.

How'd you make out on this? I had someone fairly new to tractors trying out with my NX4510HST Cab a couple weeks ago, and they remarked that the loader didn't lift and curl simultaneously. Sounded odd to me, so I tried it myself and had no problem. It's all in the way you feather the joy stick. Doubt the DK loaders are any different in this regard.

If you ever manage to leave the remote hydraulics lever locked in its detent, you'll notice that nothing else works worth a darn. Any competition for the flow will slow things down, but tripping the pressure relief really does the job right(!)...and won't do the system any good if left that way too long.

Haven't had a chance to try it yet, The tractor is at a different location. I am sure the problem is me not doing it right.
