kubota L4350
Does anyone know if an LA1002 loader and mounting brackets will bolt up to a L4350. The BF1100 is the appropriate loader but I can't find one. I ran across this loader but didn't know if it will bolt up without fabrication.

I have the LA1001 on my M5400. This is almost the same loader as the LA 1002. Are you getting the loader and the frame? The frame can be very tractor specific.
I can take photos of mine if that is helpful, but I suspect you will need to modfiy.

Hi Ken,
I think the newest model loader that will bolt up to the L4350 without modification may be the LA950. Attached are some pics that show its arrangement on a L4350 and what it's pieces look like. Sometimes Kubota still has some "New Old Stock" loaders stashed away in their warehouses - a helpful dealer might be able to find one for you - maybe even at a decent price. Take care, Dick B.

Ken - here are some pics of the LA1001 on a M4700. The loader is very similar to the LA950 (and the LA1150). But the plates and frame parts that attach to the tractor appear to be different.

For camparison, the fourth attached picture shows an LA1002 loader, unmounted. The rating is essentially identical to the LA1001 but it is a significantly revised design. Notice that the main uprights are different, the parking arms are different etc. Attachment plate pattern is probably like the LA1001 but not matched to the L4350.

If the LA1002 is an iresistable deal, maybe a larger dealer in your area can comment on how much work would be needed to adapt it to your L4350.

Great post rbargeron,
I had an 1985 L2250 with a BF400G FEL that mouted the same way as the loader on the L4350. I now have an 2006 M4900 with a LA1002 loader. They mount in very different ways. The LA1002 system is much better but I would get a laoder designed for your tractor or be prepared for lots of custom fabrication.
Good Luck Ken

Ken - here are 2 more pictures I found that help tell the frame story. The LA1002 frame is designed to attach at the front of the tractor and also at the belhousing area on the side. The LA950 frame attaches along the sides and gets its front support from side pieces extending forward over the front axle (see pics in above post)

The bellhousing area attachment may be reasonably easy - but forward of that there will be some custom fabricating to do. On the good side, the custom pieces would be mostly flat plates with holes - the value would be in capturing all the measurements.

Dick, what do you think of the price of the loader I'm looking at on ebay? Anybody else feel free to chime in also. By the way those pictures are great. Do you work at/own a dealership or just live near one to get these pics?
Thanks, Ken

on edit: Fabricating the neccessary plates is something I can do in the shop over the winter. Its kinda the whole thing thats making me hesitate. I'm not sure if this is a deal or not, it's 7 hours away, and I would have to fab up the mounts.

That auction is pretty close to the price of a new loader. I'd quote with local dealers to make sure, then you'd get the correct brackets for your tractor. The way a loader fits really makes a difference in how the loader/tractor combination will feel. It's like wearing your favorite pair of work gloves, if they are too big, or don't fit right it will feel sloppy. Frame styles can be "very" different even within the same tractor series.

This is a Westendorf TA-160, it can be installed or removed in less than 2 minutes without the use of tools or stands, it will let you free-up your tractor quickly for other tasks. It includes a quick-attach bucket and valve and joystick. Front-End Loaders by Westendorf: loader for tractor, shade canopy, wagons, manure & landscaping equipment.

Westendorf-RR, I was going to PM you about the loader but apparently you don't receive private messages. Oh well.
