Loader Loader Removal

Hey guys. I have a 3016 with a 115 loader and was wondering if any of you have any experience taking it on and off. I haven't tried mine yet. Is it worth the trouble to take it on and off if I am bush hogging and mowing? Or is it best to leave it on due to aggravation?

Do a youtube search on mahindra and there is a dealer with a 3016/3316 showing how to take off the loader..fairly painless..looks like less that a 5 min job

Found it and watched it. I was just wondering if any of you had some real life experience doing it. I took it off today which wasn't terrible but im afraid its going to be a little tough to get back on. I think if you aren't perfectly level it will be difficult to reattach.

I take mine off all the time to mow. It takes me less than 5 minutes, more like 3. Before I put it on, I spray some WD-40 on the place where it attatches. Seems to make it come off easier.

I have a Kioti DK35 but I imagine the loader removal process is similar. In the summer time I remove it every week or two for lawn mowing. As others have said, it is 3 to 5 minute job which gets easier with experience.

Being perfectly level is best. But with these small loaders you can put the pin in one side and use a lever under the bucket to make minor adjustments if the other pin is not quite lined-up. A dead blow hammer helps for final adjustment.

The other issue is pressure buildup in the hoses due to higher temperature after removal. As discussed in other threads, this can be avoided by draining a small amount of oil when removing the loader, if you expect the temperature to be higher when you put it back on. Otherwise, you can relieve the pressure by pressing the ball on the quick disconnect. But put a rag over it to avoid the spray.

I have the 5035 with the ml 130 very easy to remove and reinstall less time the the u-tube vid.
you can do it with the pallet fork on. but thats alittle tricky. I,d stick with the bucket on to remove it. I just wanted to see if I could do it with the forks.

I have a much smaller tractor, but I did get the mahindra/kodiak forks. Is that what u r using for forks or do u have something different? For me it is the same, remove loader with only bucket on... Forks would be dangerous in my configuration.
