I notice today while shredding that my loader will slowly go down after a while. I changed my fluids yesterday for the 50 hr service. What would cause this? Air in the lines?

Fluid is either bypassing in the loader valve or actuator.

I did notice yesterday while using my rotary cutter, the sight glass on the left side that shows the fluid level, there are little bubbles coming up from the bottom to the top. Is this normal? How can I fix this problem?

Thanks,

I wouldn't worry about that since there can be several thngs to cause that...gears churning like the pto or tranny gears, hydraulic return.
That sight glass area is not pressurized or anything.

I was told by a coworker this morning that the reason the loader is slowly going down is because of air in the lines. Where on an Ansung loader do you bleed the air out?

Your question props me to ask about my three point hitch. I've noticed that it slowly decends. It might take an hour to descend the whole range with a box blade on. At this point its just an annoyance when it catches the ground behind but if its a sign of more serious trouble to come I would like to deal with it while still under warranty. Anyone have thoughts to share on why and what/whether to do something about this? Thanks

Just FYI. Your loader on your tractor will leak down some. It (most often) has nothing to do with air in the system; it has to do with the loader valve itself or the cylinders. If you have air in your system, then your hydraulic oil will look very milky and foam after using your tractor and your loader and 3 point will feel "spongy." If not, then it is either the valve or the cylinders. To test, raise the loader in the air and disconnect the quick couplers (please do not try this unless you have quick couplers). Let the loader sit, if it falls down a large amount over a short periods of time (I do not know a spec., but lets just say inches in an hour), then you cylinder seals are leaking. If not, it is in your valve. If it is in the valve, then there is nothing you can do about it unless it is a crazy amount (like inches in 10 minutes). This is just due to the quality (or lack there of) of valves these day. It is this way with all brands now days, you can not afford to purchase a valve that will hold 100% load. As for the other question on the 3 point leaking down. Use your 3 point lock out valve (sometimes called "rate-of-drop valve") to shut off the valve. If the 3 point drops, then your cylinder (most likely located in your tractors rear end) is leaking by, if not, then it is the valve. If that is the case, see the comments above pertaining to the loader valve. I hope this helps everyone.

Just before the warranty ran out on my MF1523 I noticed the FEL was dropping about 10 inches in a half hour. The 'Tech' came out and diagnosed a valve in the controller. We let it go at that time - getting too cold to mess around with that stuff. This year, after some run-around getting the right version of the control unit, they replaced it. Now the FEL drops 10 inches in an hour and two feet or more overnight. Both the 'roll' and the 'lift' are sagging.

They came to collect it yesterday and will replace the seals in the cylinders.
