With a 52 foot long hemlock log on the pto winch and the 3ph hitch in the up position, the loader doesn’t respond to power down. It will power up and drop when in float. When I drop the logs off the winch the loader operates normally.
I calculated the log weight at about 3000 lbs total. I winched the end up so that would be a percentage of the total lifted weight.
Any ideas?

Does it work if you try lowering the 3 point a little? Possible with the 3 pointed it is not quite reaching full height so still trying to raise which could prevent the loader from raising.

This is solid advice

Sometimes the 3PL control system has just a little creep in it. Pull the 3pl lever right back then nudge it forward a smidge. Just stops it from bypassing pressure through the valve into the return (thus stealing pressure from your loader hydraulics)

Kind of a guess on my part but you raise the 3 point without a load on it, winch a log up, this is putting a load on the 3 point beyond its hydraulic capacity.

I did notice that the 3ph did not raise up all the way with that heavy load on it. I suppose that load was possibly over the capacity of the 3 ph
