Probably works just like the old Deere style controls. Probably not really convenient location though, possibly slow flow.

Flow isn't likely to be different than a joystick running off the same pump. It all boils down to how convenient (or inconvenient) the control levers are to reach and use.

It used to be very common,
with two remotes it worked just fine.
One other way that was common was to use one tractor remote up to a pair of loader valves.
Something else to be aware of depending on the used tractor brand and model
some will be closed center systems, many will be open center.
Most will have a smaller pump then newer tractors of the same size and hp.

Yep. I plan to route hoses from my rear remote for the 3rd function to yaw the front snow blade. Not most handy idea but "good enough" for the occasional snow plowing.

I guess adding a power beyond and a loader valve would be tractor dependent then? Maybe you can't do that with all of them?

It's easy enough to do on a John Deere. Just tap into the pressure line and by a filter housing adapter and dump into the hydraulic oil filter.

As long as the Deere is closed center

That is true for some Deeres, certainly not all, and certainly not on anything built after the early 1990's.

My JD 2030 has return to filter housing kit from the two rear SCVs. I was told it was an option for using the rear SCVs for a loader. It did not have loader when I bought it.
Normally the SCVs returned to the side of the rockshaft housing.
