Mahindra 2555 Shuttle Cab
I'm fairly new to this forum and new to any cab tractor, but have been using tractors most of my 61 year life. Just traded in 'Lil Orange L3901 for a Mahindra 2555 Shuttle Cab - first cab ever in my life but I'm really enjoying the creature comforts ;). I would like to put a decent sized toolbox on her, but there really isn't much space I've found. I did notice one post here that used an ammo case attached to the fender but it looks a bit clunky (no offense to OP) and probably wouldn't hold some of the items I would like to keep around - large spud wrenches etc for implements.

I am hopeful that someone has found a place that doesn't interfere with A) Windows opening, B) remotes (x2), or C) washer fluid bottle. When I first got the 2555 I had though I would just keep a box inside the cab, unfortunately this just doesn't work well so I now have tools, gloves, pins, etc on the floor, behind the seat, under the foot gas pedal, etc, etc.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There was a video on YouTube.

Mine on my 1533 is basically in the same spot but mine did not come with a side step there but did have attachment points so I used angle iron. I believe someone here gave me the idea.

A used Snap-on, Matco, or MAC 'workstation' - 11 drawers (+/-) and a work top space. These can be had for around 1k used, and they will last a lifetime of abuse and more. The drawers are so heavy duty on this grade of boxes that they will support 200-400lbs each. Also, the depth of the drawers on these boxes is somewhere around 22"-24".. so you can store a lot more stuff, and bigger tools (prybars, large wrenches, etc) that you'd normally have to hang up on the wall or put elsewhere.
This sounds really great!! Unfortunately, I really don't think something that large would fit on my tractor. Or am I missing something? If so, please provide a picture of where you mounted the "workstation". Thanks
