CK 30 HST
I have 2007 Kioti CK 30 HST that cranks but won't start. I have had this problem off and on a few weeks ago but it went away. This morning it started right up for the first few times but that's it. I opened the hood to check for any loose connections and nothing seems to be loose. Generally when I turn the ignition switch to on, I hear a loud click (looks like feul relay engaging), and when this happens, the tractor starts right up. I do not hear that click and the tractor is not starting. How does the fuel circuit works on thios tractor? Is ther a fuel pump?

Would appriciate knowing where the feul relay is mounted so i can jump it and see if it is the probelem. Otherwise, on my previous post, folks had suggested that is may be the ignition switch. Any ideas?

I have a dk50 hst cab. My fuel relay is under hood mounted on "fire wall". There are two 70 amp and two 40 amp relays on my tractor. A simple way to check is just swap the relays, that is, 70 amp for 70 amp and 40 for 40. The relay runs the fuel solenoid. The other is for glow plugs. Not sure what the 40 amp are. Is your tractor a cab? I am waiting for a wire harness for my tractor. It apparently as a worn wire that keeps blowing fuel shut off fuse. Good luck. Check the 10 amp fuel shut off fuse.

Here is electrical component locations on the Bobcat version, think it is the same.

Fuel is gravity feed, no fuel pump.

Thanks Dave. I do recall seeing more than 2 relay on the fire wall. How do you tell how many amp relays each is? I sure can use a wiring diagram for my tractor so I can track down the culprit. Tomorrow I will check the fuse too. thanks for the advise.

Mine is not with a cab. Just regular tractor.

Thanks SSDoxie. Looks like my tractor under the hood looks the same. What do you think is my probelm? faulty pull coil relay or the fuel shutoff soledoid? When the key is turned to on position, what makes the loud click noice? The pull coil relay or something else?

Iam shure the loud click you hear is the fuel solenoid . So I think you will have several things to check . Ignition sw , fuel relay and the fuel solenoid . Sorry I cant help with the location on the relay.

The fuel solenoid should make the loud click. The relays are fairly quiet. A test light or volt meter should help you see which piece or where the problem is. A few members have had to replace the relay for the glow plugs but I don't remember anyone mention replacing the fuel solenoid relay. You might just be the lucky one though. The key switch, from many members posts, has been a nasty culprit for various electrical problems. If any water and/or dirt enters, the switch likes to malfunction and it's erratic which makes the diagnosis hard. Also, there are several wire connectors under the right floor board that can get corroded which have caused members electrical problems.

:) Thanks to every one who provided input. The culprit was the relay that operated the fuel shut off solinoid. It is mounted ont he fire wall is one of the two 70 amp relays.

Now, I am having hard time to find a replacement for this locally. My dealer tells me that they have to oder from Kioti. I am wonder if any one know of alternative supplier?

Your CK30hst is the same as a Bobcat CT230. At least for the tractor itself but not the fel or bh. Maybe they would have one.

Thanks Victor. It seems to me that you are correct. But the bobcat dealer in Sacramento does not have a clue about this. They way parts are labeled I guess. I gave him the Tyco number and he said he comes up with nothing. When I searched the relay by Tyco number that is on the relay along with Kioti number, I found the part on several online web sites for $12-25. I am not in a jam because I have jumped the relay and my tractor starts and works while I wait to get the part.
