Location of tools on 2445 Trailer

I am trying to layout my tools so I can fit them on the PT trailer for moving.

In my haste to remove the tools and tractor from the trailer, I did not take any pictures of what went where.
Also, in the mean time I got more tools. I now have:
backhoe (stays on tractor)
4-1 bucket
Tiller
72" finish mower
Trencher
Plant power head
30" auger
18" backhoe bucket
Forklift Forks

I can figure out some of the positions on the trailer from looking at the Power Trac website. But each picture seems to have a different mix of tools and a different location for stowage.

I probably would not get much help from PT. Things like Hyd drawings & electrical wiring harness drawings just don't seem to be available. So I'm not expecting a photo or sketch of tool / trailer layout placement.

Anyone have any pictures of a similar rig? or direction? I'm hoping I can do better than the wife & the living room sofa game trying to get everything on the trailer.

One question, how do you have the 72" Mower on a 2445?
I thought PT didn't recommend mowers on the TLB models for overheating reasons.

WHAT ever are you talking about.. The 2445 can use all three mowers, and are listed on the web site.

For whatever reason it is stuck in my head that each trailer is custom made to whatever implements you order. So positions can be different.

Then again, I don't own one nor have I ever seen one in person so what do I really know. I don't know who on this forum ordered a trailer either so you may be stuck with calling Terry...

As far as being able to use a mower on the front of the 24 series , if it will fit you can use it. It may have an issue of the center of gravity being higher so that might limit the areas where you can mow. They don't make a back hoe for the, I believe it was the 425 series, but one of our members adapted one to his. I believe it was Ed that done that.

I think he bought a backhoe for the 2425 and put a quick attach plate on it and used it on the front of a 425. There are some good photos of it here, somewhere on TBN.

Tim,

About attachment location on the trailer. I don't think all the tools were designed to be carried on the trailer at the same time. The straps and hold downs, are set up to hold down certain attachments. I think you would only load those tools that would be used for a certain job. Just redo the straps to suit your needs.

Thanks to all who have given this some thought. I did find out that the attachments on the trailer are custom fitted as per the order placed. From looking at the several photos on the PowerTrac site, I see different configurations depending on the attachments. I guess that is about as good as it will get. There are a lot of posts fitted to the trailer bed, so It will be awhile until I can figure it out.

I'll be sure to take a picture when I get it laid out so I don't forget.

I was interested in hearing how other trailer package owners have their attachments arranged. If I recall, there was a disucssion a good while ago about overloading the trailer vs the towing capacity of both the truck & trailer and did not want to get into that legal problem.

JJ seems to have it figured; just stick it where it fits 'n tie 'er down. I'll go with that.
