Locked up travsmission oil pump 2030 john deere

hydrolics slow had blown piston seal on rockshaft piston and replaced it worked well fpr a few days them wouldn't raise unles revved engine.whilechecking to see if seal blew again pump locked up sheared off seaveral teath on pump gears. does trans work in tandum with front hydrolic pump anybody have a trans oil & hydro;ic scematic

Trans pump feeds the front pump. It also provides pressure for Reverser, HI-LO, and Independent PTO clutch & brake if you have any of those options.
Sounds like something went thru the pump gears to lock it up and break gear teeth.

The transmission pump is fed from the sump. The transmission reservoir screen is it's only inlet "filter". Output first goes to the transmission filter, then to the front pump. The transmission oil filter has a relief valve that dumps back to sump if the filter is clogged. There is a "surge relief" valve (if without reverser) between the trans filter and the front pump. It opens if the pressure from the transmission pump exceeds 100-140psi and dumps to sump.

Also as stated earlier, the transmission pump supplies the Reverser, HI-LO, and Ind PTO clutch & brake if so equipped.

Doesn't have reverser,hi-lo or ind.pto clutch,on pump lubricatong trans does it go thru filter first,I intend to flush or at least blow the lines

Yes output from transmission pump goes to transmission oil filter first. The sump screen is for its inlet.

Teeth off trans pump sound as if foreign object made to the trans pump.

thanks for the help sofar pump and mounting plate are replaced passages blown out replaced screen as well ,question is screen supposed to be loose .aprox.1/2to 1 inch side to side with fitting and gasket inplace, some up and down movement as well

Some Side to side play is normal. 1/2" - 1" seems excessive. Up and down play is not normal. Screen should be a slip fit in housing, not much more than a couple of thousandth's clearance in the bore. Is your screen plastic or metal? Does it appear distorted or damaged? Possible someone installed an incorrect one. Can you post a picture of it?

It's metal same size as original my question is because trash got into old pump and I don't want to repeat
