Dealer Lockhart, TX Dealership owner passed away

Don't know if any of you are around the Lockhart/Austin Texas area or if you ever did business with Jim Parmley, owner of Tractor Show Place between Lockhart and Austin, but Mr. Parmley passed away on February 9th. He was 63 years old and had been a tractor salesman all his working life. He'd been selling Montana's since they first came on the market. He sold my family our first Montana back in November.

Yes, I knew Jim. He was a heluva good guy. Bought my Montana R3644 HST with loader and backhoe from him in June of 08. We both entered the Christmas parade, and helped each other out with some issues. I used to stop by just to say hi, and talk about whatever.
I'm gonna miss him.
I only live a mile from where he had his business. It was very convenient for service. Gonna have to do the 100 hr services myself now. I don't want to have to pull the tractor all the way to San Antonio. I just need to find out what filters to get, type of oil, hydro fluid, and capacities.

isn't mayer going to have a sell at Mr. Jims place on the 25th of April???? all his tractors, equipment and parts????

I just found a place in Giddings that said he bought his inventory from the tractor showplace because the owner had passed away. He is just starting out (after having worked as head of the servicing department for the JD dealership in Giddings). It is R&J Tractor Services 979-542-2300.
