locking fuel cap?

Mine don't have one. Parked on jobsites, we got siphoned like nobody's business last year when diesel was 5/gallon. Backhoe got left alone with locking cap. Dumptruck and CUT got siphoned.

Anyone know of aftermarket locking gas caps?

For the cut isn't the tank plastic? I'd rather loose some fuel than have an ice pick through the bottom of the tank.

Now the truck that is another story what type cap and tank.

Check with Stant. They make gas gaps, rad caps, ect. They are American made which I know you will like and sold at Auto Zone, Napa (re-branded to Napa Name), ect. If you have problems crossing them over PM me and I will have my father look for you, he is VP of Manufacturing for them.

Bet the siphoners don't even realize it's illegal to mix the on road and the off road fuels.
Try putting a screen in the filler pipes.

My current locking fuel cap on my dump got destroyed in an attempted break in. New cap is $50.

Would like to have one for AGCO tractor-fuel tank is under hood. My New Holland backhoe has locking hood, fuel tank & hydraulic tank.

So you don't think they'd put the red off road fuel they swiped out of the CUT in a vehicle and drive that vehicle on the highway.

My CUT had over the road fuel in it when it got siphoned.

G'day we used to have anti siphon springs fited to alot of our equip they were a large coil that was fitted down in the filller neck that stopped a hose greater than 1/4" being pushed down into the tank don't know if they are still avail but they were very effective did not impede the filling of the tank either . Hope you find somethhing to help you out
