LOCKNLUBEョ GREASE COUPLE... ever try one?

I purchased a loc-n-lube and I never use it.

I like my original so much I just bought the "Extended" version to grease the Agmate 6' RFM spindles. Makes it super easy to get on the outer spindles which are recessed in the shields.

Looking at a new grease coupler I have never seen. I don't pay much attention to reviews I prefer to ask guys who have similar uses as me. Here is a link to it

LockNLube(R) Grease Coupler | LockNLube(R) - LOCKNLUBE

Yeah I have one and use it with my DeWalt 20V max grease gun. Expensive but it's the killer tool combination when you have a tractor and or lots of grease fittings that need regular attention. The combination can even make a one handed job out of it. It helps take a little of the work and frustration out of the job.

JD855guy,
Let me suggest you contact LNL via their web site; locknlube.com, and send them an email, detailing your frustrations as stated above. I did yesterday about the LNL rebuild kit, and they got back to me the same day.
I sounds like your hoe may have some jammed up zerks, but I'm just thinking out loud here....
Maybe they can help you to get it to work as it does for most here and elsewhere.
Maybe it's just operator error?!:)

Ordered one yesterday based on this thread. Got it off ebay. The shipping was free. Amazon shipping was almost 7 bucks. I think I'll like it and will grease more often as I should. Greasing is a job I just don't like.

Thanks to the guy few pages back who mention that extended LNL, I just ordered it for a couple of my deep pocket fittings.

As far as that foot pumping grease bucket goes, I'll take those 14oz tubes any day of the week before doing the foot pump jig on a bucket, now if Dewalt came out with 20v grease bucket with a button and I had a 50+ grease fittings to grease, I'd definitely consider a grease bucket, other then that hard to beat a battery grease gun.

Side note, I give ten stars and a golden globe award to the making of that youtube video, thought the demonstration was great and amusing.

I purchased a loc-n-lube and I never use it. It can get stuck on a fitting as fast as my regular coupling. The main problem occurs when you try to grease a fitting that won't take grease which seems to happen frequently on my backhoe. I have removed every pin and fitting on that thing, installed covers on all the fittings, and it seems to always have one or two that either are in a bind position or have become clogged somehow.

.

No matter what type of gun or zerk adapter you are using, if you find a fitting that won't accept grease, try either taking the weight or load off that pin or part, or put load on it in the opposite direction. Then try see if it'll accept grease. Often loaded or at rest tolerances are too tight to allow grease in. If that doesn't do it, take the zerk out and attach it to the grease gun to see if grease goes through it.

They are awesome. I have no regrets.

Same here.

I got tired of having to yank the original grease gun tip off some of the fittings. It also solved problems I was having getting grease to go into some of the harder to access fittings because it goes on and locks on.

I recommend it.
