Log or wood hauler for box blade

This was a quick project that has really been helpful for me getting logs out of the woods. There is a limit to what the tractor will lift. It works well for pine and light weight logs or small diameter heavy logs. I can get into very tight places with this setup and not tear up the ground and other trees getting out.

Good thinking

I already have square tube receivers on my BB for a set of gauge wheels. I could use these to support an expanded metal tool rack for a shovel, rake, and saw gas... No point tying up my FEL for this. The platform would be easy to hang inside of my trailer when I'm not using it on the BB.

Looks real handy.
What length logs are you loading on there, and are you limited to what you can pick up and throw on top? Or do you have some other loading techniques?

I try to keep the logs close to the width of the tractor so I can get through the trees on the way out. With 2 people loading, it is not much of a problem. The tractor was unable to lift the load in the picture which really supprised me. I guess that weight adds up in a hurry and it is also further back on this setup.

I am glad that I could add something to this sight. It has been very helpfull to me.

I think the weight of the box blade is keeping you from taking the full load of wood. Can you modify the wood holding portion so you can use that without the box blade attached?
