Just wanted to drop a line or two to thank you guys for taking the time to reply to this thread !
I finally got the splitter to run pretty **** good, I re adjusted the carburetor, and then increased the rpm's a little and that basically gave the machine a little more push. When splitting the y's and real large tough pieces I found I could come up to the log, and jog it part way into the piece and keep jogging it until I heard the piece start splitting and then the machine just powered through the log.
The governor was kicking in , but I still am not confident that it is running at 100 %. I am done with splitting, probably 12 to 14 cords of wood.
Thanks to all who posted !
Brian
