This morning I was logged in, catching up on all the posts. After about 45 minutes of reading, I was suddenly logged out. This is maybe the 3rd or 4th time this has happened over the post month.

Has anyone else had this problem /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hmmmmm.......

Are you all paid up on your TBN dues?? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Maybe your computer is trying to tell you that it's time for a coffee break! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Seriously Billy, I've not had a similar problem. ALthough I have to say that it's hard for me to stay logged on for that long of time period here at work. After all, I do need to do SOMETHING for the citizens once in awhile! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yep Gary, all paid up. I sent a check in about 2 weeks ago /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I've been on coffee break all morning, still am /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I stay logged in all the time, never log out.

I'm self employed so I only get paid when I work. Maybe that's the reason I'm going broke (and my check could have bounced ) /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I've noticed that Comcast dumps me out if I don't do anything for a few minutes. I don't know how long before they close my connection, but it seems to be getting shorter and shorter.

Do you click on the "Remember me on the next visit" box on the initial login?

Yes, I've always check that option. The problem isn't a big deal. The only reason I noticed it is I started getting those annoying clicks every time I had a popup blocked. That and if I decide to reply to a post and have to re-login. I belong to 3 different forums and stay logged in all the time but this one is the only one I get kicked out.

There's another problem only at this site too. If I try to download a pic, the only option is to save as a bmp. If I refresh that picture, then the jpg option comes back. I've done the usual dump the temp internet files and history but it still does it.

Like I said, neither problem is a big deal. Just a minor annoyance that I can live with. But if there's a fix, I'm all ears /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

TBN is #1 in my books

What do you do about it? I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I lose my Comcast Internet connection at least once nearly every day; reboot the computer and everything is back to normal.

Well, the login deal just happened again /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Here's a snapshot of 2 pages. Notice I'm logged in on one and out on the other. Most of the time I surf TBN using 3 browsers.

I must admit the only time I have more than one IE/TBN window open is if I'm doing some searching/cutting/pasting for a post that uses multiple URL links.

I don't have an answer for you, but your probably crumbling the cookies with multiple sessions open. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You can call comcast and they will come fix these kind of problems for free. I use their service as well and get much better performance since they did some work on my line.
