Based on that price makes me feel even better about the deal.

Like a kid I couldn't wait to try it out. Found a slightly bent axle on one gang and a few other things I want to change. No squeaking from the bearings was a plus. Thinking I am going to move the back gangs in to make it 8' instead of 9'. Overall I think I came out ok.

Will keep that in mind. I have a few things I want to do to it, but think it will be a keeper. Would like to rework the 3 point attachment mounts on the disc. Would prefer something a little more rigid. Is there anything out there to buy as a kit or is usually easier to just fabricate something? Looks like this one was damaged and repaired/replaced. It works, but I would prefer something more sturdy so I can keep down pressure on the rear of the disc without it moving.

A 3pt linkage is easy enough to make with a torch. Just heat it and bend it to shape. I'd agree that looks like the weakest link. It would still probably outlast you as is.
