The dedicated cordless sets are really bad. ~$600 and last through one dropping.
I ended up getting a Panasonic GigaRange set to try, based on info here... It has two handsets, and costs all of $76. The users like it 1000% better than the Engenius SN920 it replaced. It has plenty of range no interference, and get this, it is a 2.4 and is 3' from a WiFi bridge setup. I already had one, so I tried it first before getting another 2.4GHz.
The new 2.4GHz models must be WiFi aware...
