Hello all, It's been a long time since I was here last, but I still have and use almost daily my '98 LK3054. Here is my problem, while backing up the other day and not looking where I was going I ran into an embankment and bent one of the lift arms. I need to find one to replace it and just wondering before ordering a new one if someone might have an used one? If I need to order one, can I assume that Wallace and/or Michigan Iron are still the way to go?

Thanks,
Phil

Is it beyond straightening in a press? A shop could do it quick and cheap if it isnt ~ kinked.

Agreed, I'd look for a shop with a wonderful hydraulic press...amazing what they can do in practiced hands.

About a year ago I discovered such a shop in a town 25 miles away...sooooo glad I did...have used them several times...such places that can cut metal, fabricate, weld, straighten, etc. are disappearing, but well worth finding for those occasions when you need what they can do. So, it's worth spending time on the phone and internet/yellow pages hunting down some place with a press and giving them a shot at it...

Shipping alone will be costly. But since you are looking for replacement I guess it is bad. Wallace and Michigan Iron are still here and still highly respected.

Yea I think it is beyond a press. I was a journeyman machinist in a previous life and straitened a lot of thing over the years. The problem is where it is bent more than the amount.

I'll second replacement. 2 Months ago I broke my Adj lift link on my CK20. After checking at the local TSC and another local Tractor seller, I was reffered to a welder 2 miles down the road. 20 min and 20 dollars later I had my lift link. I then looked online and found that I could have bought a new on for only slightly more. Mich Iron would be a good source.
