Jerry, I measured the forks....... 48"
from albmn10....From your lawn shots the turfs seem like they do very well..
I've had no problem with keeping the grass green & the lawn rut free. I really haven't noticed any difference in the lawn from when I had a Ford 1220 (predecessor of the New Holland TC18/21) and the CK30. The Ford 1220 was about half the weight of the CK30. When the yard was overly wet I did not go on it with the 1220 and I don't go on it when it's overly wet with the CK30. I mow with a riding mower pulling a trac vac/lawn vac and have picked up my grass clippings all summer. I have a seperate compost pile for grass clippings. The grass clippings breakdown relatively fast and I use the dirt for reseeding areas of the lawn.
from KJ I hope that after all this time, it's not anticlimactic to finally get the tractor!
Not in the least! Anticipation has been building for a while. I've been sitting on my hands /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif in the back of the room waiting to get pictures so I could share my work. The TBN braintrust has been so good with sharing projects.....I feel good about being able to give a few tidbits back. You know what they say: Pictures are worth a 1000 words (1500 on TBN /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif )
