Got this last Friday. spent all weekend in the woods trying her out.

the HST was nice. found myself reaching for the shifter all of the time when going into reverse. got some old habits to get rid of. love the convenience of the HST, but kept trying to remember what the steps were to, when putting this in reverse. Like there was some step that was missing.

found that I'm very rusty working with a back hoe. need to spend a day or so just digging and making a mess. just to get used to running one again and get the coordination needed to operate this smoothly.

That's a nice tractor. I'd be scared I'd get it dirty.

That is one good looking machine. I know what you mean about the hoe. If it has been a couple of years since I've used ours it takes a while to get the timing back. The controls are very touchy.

Nice tractor. That last picture looks like it dented your canopy?

Whidbey Island…..nice place to backhoe and tractor in general.

Lucky you.

Is the canopy plastic?
The canopies on the larger Kubota TLB's are plastic just like on my B26. I don't think any permanent damage was done if he didn't let it set on it too long. They have a box frame with X bracing underneath so not much is going to push thru. I think they make it from heavy double wall plastic just for this reason. The early models had a steel canopy which would have permanently bent under that load.
