I Drove by this for 3 days before I stopped to check it out. My wife would have let me have it too. It is a 1981 gravely with a 72 inch hydraulic midmount mower deck. He only wanted 1500 for it and sold it for a grand. The sad thing is I probably pushed the sale through. He was there before me and we were checking it out together. I considered offering more money but I didn't have the heart to mess with the guy’s good deal. He needed it more than I did. He was taking it to upstate NY to leave at his property there. It was a killer little tractor. Spent its entire life inside and was used to maintain a driving range. I can't think of a better life for a tractor

You know everytime I drove by it on my way home fom work I said to myself that isn't going to last. It ran real nice too, well it won't be the last time I kick myself in the butt for droping the ball

"My wife would have let me have it too"??? Was she in agreement with you buying it or would she have let you have it (as in pounding in your head).

Nice looking little mower.

No I showed her the picture and she told me to go get it but it was sold before I left. That ok I am on the look out for an old ford. That is what I realy want. I know were there is an old wide axle farmall sitting outside with a snow blade on the front but I don't think it has moved in years. I have my eyes on that too

My wife's take on me dragging home old tractors? "At least it isn't 19, 5'-9" and blonde".

Between her good attitude and my "Sometimes it's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission" strategy, never a harsh word.

It'd be the end of a number of things, not least of which would be a part of my anatomy............NO SIR, I'll stick with the tractors.
