I was pretty amazed at the engineering of the Sadhu disc from India. Also interested in speed disc equipment.

Or even this

And this

I use an offset disc harrow every year to get my winter pasture ready for cows, but mine is just a simple 9' pull type made by Industrias America that I bought brand new off of an auction for about $3k, I imagine the price tag on those would scare you but they do seem to be stout made and a nice piece of equipment.

Me, I'm a Great Plains person.
Not to derail the OP's thread but I was looking to buy a new 10' no-till seed drill last year and couldn't even get a price on a Great Plains model, they all said GP wouldn't give a date for when they may roll some of the assembly line other than probably 2024, I wound up going with a Remlinger and so far am well satisfied.

If I need a seeder, I borrow it from the coop. Rare instance.

No such luck around here, but I will probably pick up some pasture re-seeding jobs and some winter pasture jobs with it so over time maybe it will pay for itself, I put one of my hayfields in winter oats, so if that works out I will cut them in the spring.

They appear to be pretty decent machines, looks like greasing them would be very easy. I wish the videos would have been in English language.

Well, I found me a disc. An 8’, 1969 Strathmore. The 24” blades are like new with only surface rust. No weld repairs and straight. In the process of freeing up all the necessary threaded parts and replacing all the bearings. That includes replacing the wheel spindles and hubs because the existing hub & bearings are not available anymore with the seals needed. All in all I’ll have about $3200 rapped up into it. This is my second Strathmore disc. I really like their build.
