Looking at 5035 hst

NewGuy, My grill guard has saved my front end countless times-very glad to have it. I will probably add to it/beef it up sometime as well. Need to get off my rear and fab a guard for my hood release soon.... Is the hood release on the 2011 5035's underneath, up front on the left side like mine? Anyway, must fix for me or it will get torn off.....

Bascom, my 5035 is a 2010 leftover... dealer purchased it in the fall of '09 and it sat over the winter. I got it the following April. My hood releases the same as yours... lower left front knob. Only have to open to connect/disconnect the battery tender plus I keep on it as it is garaged, but not heated.

Brian, I'm with ya and will call when the time is right. I need to get another remote as well to run the complete TnT. Will probably get two for a total of three.

Meanwhile, planting fruit trees and getting water to them.

Thats cool I've been doing the same.
Planting and finding efficent ways to irrigate.

I'll post some pics when I get a guard fabbed out and bolted on. Probably in February or so with all my other "projects" and honey-doos.

EMB, understood on the deer! I don't have much of a problem as my trees get caged and I make the most of Georgia's 2 buck / 10 doe season limit:licking:


I'm hoping for two more to round it out this next weekend. Season closes 15 Jan. And no, I won't be limited out.....

Sounds good. I'd like to see your setup. When I start diving into the stumps/trees/rocks that is part of my back yard next spring/summer, extra protection may be a very good idea. Tnx
