Buying Advice Looking at a 2009 Cub Cadet EX450

Hello, I am looking at buying a 2009 Cub Cadet EX450 with an FEL with 585 hours on it. It has a 45 hp diesel engine, 9x9 synchronized shuttle and R4 tires.

I was hoping someone here has access to a tractor value site (seam all I found are for pay sites) and can tell me what it is worth. Looking to buy from a dealer.

Also looking for any input on pros/cons of the tractor and any pitfalls I should know about this make/model.

I have a bum left knee and cannot operate a 'stiff' manual clutch so looking to get a hydrostatic type tractor. My understanding a shuttle transmission is similar to a hydro, is that true?

A shuttle is not the same as a hydro. If you have a bad wheel you might want to keep looking. These tractors were introduced about the time of the last downturn in the economy so they never had much of a chance. I don't think this was because of tractor design. I believe these were made by Yanmar which is a respected company who has provided the engines for John Deere for years.
