Looking at Mitsubishi MT 160d 16.5 hp

Well I am back from the auction and did not buy. The tractor was very nice and Grey or Gray. I had 260 hrs and was a bit rusty but no other problems. Problem was some one wanted to pay $7,000 cdn. for just the tractor and loader. Way too much for me. They sold the implements after the tractor. The rotovator still had the paint on the tines (sp?)
so any way I am still looking for a small tractor. I am located in the Vancouver BC area.
Thanks to all who have responded. I feel much more educated.

You were right to back away. It would have been a good tractor but I think that went too high. Did the attachments go high too?

The rotovator went for $500 + 24% fee and taxes. I left and don't know what the mower and auger went for.

The MT160D is not a grey!
I have a MT180D and it is a great tractor!
While expensive, parts are not hard to come by.
If they were still sold, I'm sure that they'd rank with the best (like Kubota).
Mit stopped direct sales and private labeled for Bolens and I believe ford as well.
Can't say there is any bad specifics about them, naturally things do wear.
I have probably worked mine harder than most and can't complain.
There is also a Mitsubish Yahoo user club that is very usefull to join.

Hello,i have a 1601d same thing,and i have an allied loader,this is the best utility tractor I've owned,it seems like it has 30hp not 18,this will pull my 2006 NewHolland tc33d all around,good tractor would highly recommend it,very good engines,strong hydraulics,all around great.
