According to a chart I found, a 16.9x30 tire(size of tire on P7010-7030) will add 609 pounds of weight using water as a fill liquid. I would think that you could put at least that much weight or more on each tire using weights, but most economical is liquid ballast. I think if it were me, I would forego the slime and put in the water which will also work pretty well in helping to seal in cactus thorn leaks or at least slow it WAYYYY down.

I guess that it probably depends on the wheel and who you get the weights from. My experience has been that the weights are going to weight between 65lbs-105lbs. Not to many people put on more than 3 sets, so that would be a little over 600lbs at best. Then the cost is quite high, I don't know of anyplace where it is less than $1.50 a lb and usually over $2.

I ended up putting 6 sets of wheel weights on my 7520 along with all 4 tires being filled. It took that to get my tractor to the proper weight for ground work. That and doubling up on the front end weights. Although I could have just left the loader on the tractor, but that isn't much fun having it bouncing around when you do a lot of field work. ;) I had tried with just 4 sets and the std amount of front weight, but it just wasn't enough. :(

Thanks MtnView and Gary for the thoughts on filling or not for the tires. I am going to go the the sealant on the tires for now and look at adding weights as needed. Gary's comment about trailering the tractor with the additional water weight got me thinking. The additional 1,200+lbs with water would put it over my trailer capacity or be really close. I will post some pic's when it comes in. Thanks again.

That is the reason I dont have water in my tires at the moment. I have a 12K rated trailer and that is as much or more than my truck is rated for. With air in the tires and no weight other than the FEL, I am at the limit of towing capacity and dont plan to get larger equipment or truck.
Option for moving the tractor might be to put water in tires but remove the FEL to haul. I think that would be a wash on the weight.
