I'm looking at a 2006 McCormick cx50h. It's a 50 horse 4 wheel drive with about 340 hours on it. My question is is anyone familiar with these tractors. I can't find any reviews on them. I have a small hobby farm with 4 horses and 12 cows. I am currently using a john deere 2840. It's to big for what I use it for and the wife doesn't like running it due to its size. My round bales are around 1100 pounds. Any thoughts on this?!

Is it possible that the tractor is actually a "x10.50h"

The only "cx50h" I can find is one on tractorhouse, which must be the one you are looking at since the hours match.

I believe you are correct with that! I saw on McCormicks website they were x10 series tractors which doesn't give a lot of faith in the dealer that is selling it. Thought maybe they change them! Any thoughts on the tractor

If it is what we think it is then it was built by Daedong, at least the engine anyway. Which is the parent company of Kioti. I'm sure someone else here can tell you the equivalent Kioti model.

Edit: I dug a bit deeper to find that the x10.50h was introduced in 2011. You state the one you are looking at in a 2006.

Hum... Either the dealer is wrong about that also or I'm wrong about it being a x10.50h.

The more I look the confuseder I gets.

The x10 series are the Daedong built models. And I think your right, they were not introduced until 2011. (the one listed on Tractorhouse is NOT an X10 model.)
Don't know anything about the CX series

This was on the McCormick website under the history tab. It talks about the CX , MC and a MC power 6 models

In 2001, McCormick Tractors saw a return to America in the creation of McCormick International USA and the first US McCormick tractor was introduced at Pella, Iowa. By 2006, Argo merges McCormick USA with Landini to create one company with two very successful brands and moved the company to Norcross, Georgia. By this time, McCormick products are being distributed in over 55 countries. In 2008 McCormick introduces the latest versions of the CX, MC and MC Power6 models. In order to find more room for assembly and for growth, McCormick relocates three miles north to Duluth, GA. The new 120,000 square foot facility is over 2.5 times larger than the previous Norcross, GA building. As part of the expansion, the company consolidated the Kiel, Wisconsin and Baltimore, Maryland operations into the new facility to handle light assembly of tractors.

The x10 series are Daedong tractors, identical in almost every way to a Kioti. The x10.50 is the same as a Kioti DK50 with the exception of the FEL and possibly some of the electrical wiring. I BELIEVE the older McCormicks were made by LS as were the pre-2011 Landinis. My dealer dropped Landini when they made the change from LS to Daedong since he would have had two identical tractors in different colors so he picked up LS.

Kioti is Daedong's English branding, but they are the same company. Daedong built tractors for Bobcat up till this year and continue to build McCormick and Landini tractors.

LS started selling tractors under their own name in 2011 in N.A. Before that they built tractors for several other companies and probably still do (I believe some of the NH boomers). One of the LS guys can probably say which ones for sure.
