I have a Cub Cadet/YanMar Ex3200 TLB with the CB-75 backhoe and am trying to locate a 13" bucket. The backhoe came with the 24" bucket but it is too big for going after stumps. I have tried a couple of dealers and honestly, I haven't had much luck (although the folks at Ferrell's in Corinth, MS have done what they can to help but have not had any luck either).

I am located not far from the Yanmar US headquarters in Adairsville, GA but they don't seem real interested in helping me. I'm not sure if Woods makes the backhoe for Cub Cadet/Yanmar and am considering giving them a call to see if they can help.

I want to use my backhoe but locating the smaller bucket has been harder than I anticipated. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

I have two thoughts on this,

First, in another thread we discovered AMEREQUIP is makeing backhoes for Yanmar. AMEREQUIP has its own line of backhoes and buckets, maybe someone there can point you in the right direction.

Second, in my area there is a local fabrication shop that produces all size and types of buckets for backhoes. Backhoe buckets are one of those items that seem to wear out after time, maybe there is a similar shop in your area or you could even employ the one in the link. On their website they have a form for taking the measurements they'll need to produce the bucket.

There's one on eBay, a 12" that might fit. Type in cub cadet yanmar bucket.....he's asking 450.

Good luck!

Hi hankross, I also have the CCY EX3200 TLB with the CB75 BH. My BH came equipped with a 16" bucket. I have a wooded lot with 95% hardwood trees. Most trees are mature and have trunk diameters between 16" ~ 24". I typically cut the tree down leaving a two foot tall stump (for leverage). Excavating the fresh stumps with the 16" bucket requires many hours of work. The ~ 6" diameter roots are quite a challenge for the limited hydraulics/breakout force of the BH. I recommend that you check out a ripper tooth if you want to improve your BH's excavating abilities. I agree with your logic that a 24" wide bucket on our CUT BH distributes the rated bucket force of 2606 lbs., and 1822 lbs. of dipper stick force over a large surface area. (The basic laws of physics are working here). To maximize the effectiveness of the dipper stick force, you need to reduce the surface area of the ground engagement tool; a.k.a. your BH bucket. One Yanmar dealer has listed smaller BH for under $500.00: A CBB9 59A40024727 9" Bucket HD For CB75
CBB13 59A40025727 13" Bucket HD For CB75
CBB16 59A40026727 16" Bucket HD For CB75

Several manufacturers and extremely innovative/creative tractor owners have fabricated a ripper tooth Bro-Tek: Tractor Add Ons Also check out Billstmaxx YouTube video Trying out the new ripper tooth project - YouTube to replace your BH bucket for excavating frozen ground, tree roots, rocks, etc. I am in the process of building one for my BH. Let me know how you make out.
