looking for a new tractor. I currently have a MF Gs 2300. Looking for a little bigger tractor. Want to be able to have a cab. Need it for winter for snowblowing. Thinking of have front mount snow blower. currently have rear snowblower. Reason for front is getting older and setting side saddle hurts . I have arithius in both hips. So i am just shopping. just wondering what you guys recommend. Thanks Scott

I'd consider fiberglass cab w/heater & ac heavy duty wiper, also extra lighting...check out Curtis cabs.

Vist dealer w/cab already install, but dress for cold weather notice room to operate.

I had the MF 2310 and like you wanted something a little bigger. I went to a kubota B2929 and then to a B3300. One suggestion would be go to Kubota's website and check out the new Kubota B3000 with factory cab. I'm sure others will outline some of the other brands. btw, MF came out with a new model...I think the 1526...don't know if it has a Factory cab. I'm sure there are aftermarket cabs for most, but I think in that size the Kubota (and possibly JD?) are the only ones that have factory cabs. I agree, make your life more comfortable!

I know you said you needed a bigger tractor but how about a UTV with a cab and blade. I push snow with an RTV 900 and it works great. You look forward, have a heated cab and can take a passenger with you. Plus you can haul loads, dirt, wood, ect. This might offset your need for a bigger tractor unless you are needing more hp for mowers or other attachments.
BTW: I have arthritis in my hips and spine so I know what you are dealing with, running the tractor is not as fun as it used to be.

I wouldn't recommend going down to a UTV. I just went up from one to a B3300 w/ a 6', 3 way plow. Haven't plowed a flake yet, but its more than obvious that the tractor will be many times more useful. UTV's with plows are just a compromise. Where I live blowers don't work to well. If thats what you need then the decison is even easier, to go to a tractor. The B3000 would suit you well. Mine has no mid PTO so wouldnt work for you....
My feeling is that if you need a blower where you are you would not like plowing w/ a UTV.

After market cabs will never be as nice/warm/cool/quiet as a factory cab from any-one.Look at the small Kubota's with factory cab/mid pto for the snow-blower.
