Hi,

I'm looking for a part off a Barfoot snow blower. They also go by BWM for Barfoots Welding and Machine. I believe they are located in Ontario, Canada. They may be part of Thompson Machine and Millwright now. The number on the parts look like EG119 and EG130. Although the G could be a 6 or a 0. Any help would be appreciated. I posted some pictures below.

Thanks.

The name of that part is a shear yoke. That one looks like the one that connects to the tractor PTO shaft or it could also connect to the gear box? I do not see anything obviously wrong with the yoke except that there is a cap from the U joint cross in one side. That looks like a standard PTO shaft part, almost any decent tractor and implement dealer or bearing shop should have those. Bring it and the rest of the shaft in when you go to get parts, they should then be able to tell what cross is needed too. It looks a bit like the metric PTO yokes more than the SAE ones based on the shear bolt connection and on the snap rings. Metric ones are much more expensive.
How did this break? What is the grade of the shear bolt in it when it broke? I have seen quite a few broken yokes on snow blowers, it is a somewhat common occurrence around here especially if a grade 8 shear bolt is in it.
Good luck in getting it fixed before the next snowfall, it has been a wild winter.
