So a point of confusion I havent been able to clear up is as follows

What series of JDs have rear PTO? Its confusing to me, and on that same note, do any Cub Cadets have it?

The easiest way to answer this is to refer you to Tractordata.com since some models have the option for 540 rear pto and some have a 2000 rear pto. Current x700 series have the 540 rpm rear pto option and prior models of the 400 series and up have it as an option. The x585 for instance has it but the current x500 series does not. John Deere hasn't been much help with their model numbering system, you do need to be familiar with the models/
