Currently on my 68 Ford 3500 are the tri-rib front tires. These tires make loader work a hassle because they want to sink into any soft ground. I would like to put wider floatation type tires on so I don't sink everywhere, like these Tractor Supply Company - Farm Specialist Tire, 11L - 15, I-1, 8 Ply.

The problem is the rims I have are 4.5 or 5.5" wide, too narrow for a wide tire. I found part# E0NN1007LA, which is a 8x16 rim that fits, but they cost $115 a piece. Does anyone know of any aftermarket tractor or truck rims that will fit and are cheaper? If not, has anyone done this swap on a 2wd loader and what where your results? If it is a night and day difference, then it will be easier to pay the money.

Thanks.
