Now that my 45S is home, I'd like to buy a cover that protects the seat and cockpit area, anyone know of one that would fit this tractor, or come close?

There was only one reference in the Archives, to fit a Kubota model B, which is much smaller I think.

Being that I used the money from selling the wife's Mercedes S500 (wasn't a 4X4) to buy the Kioti it was only fitting the reuse its cover too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey. That's what I did. Only I used a soft cover I had purchased years ago for an extended cab pickup. Works great! And the price is even better! Would prefer a real hard shelter though. In the plans for later this summer or next year.

Well, I suppose I could use a car cover, but I was looking for one that covers the cockpit area only, not the whole tractor. Even if it's under a roof, a small cover will keep the seat and instrument area relatively dust free.

A dust free tractor? Where? I've never seen one outside a showroom. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, I wasn't going to come right out and say it, but I was thinking more along the lines of birds**t free.

I use a picnic blanket my wife pic up some where. it is water resistant, but not plastic, so rain beads off it and it has small weight built into the corners(feels like metal washers) to give it just enough to keep the corners down. I just put it over the seat and control panel area. it is big enough to even cover the seat of the backhoe. very easy on and easy off. i just stuff it behind the seat when not in use. the other day it was raining and i had it over my head while doing some backhoe work. I am glade no one was around to take my picture. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

check Walmart. its dark blue one side and light blue on the other. cheap but effective.
