Agracat/Jinma
I'm new to the forum and it appears there's some great advice here. I have an Agracat 2940b, which is a rebadged Jinma 254, from 2004. It's in great shape, but I really need to get a front end loader for it. I've seen that Koyker makes a good loader that would fit, and I'm not opposed to buying one. But I'm looking for a cheaper option. Are there any good used loaders out there that would fit this tractor? Seems like there should be something that would fit, but I want to make sure I get the proper bracing and brackets to attach it. Any advice would be appreciated!

The Jinma ZL loader that came with my 2006 284 has been a good loader. fits well, fairly easy on and off and is sufficiently strong enough to withstand mild abuse. I haven't priced loaders in years but I believe it would be much less $$ than just about everything else.
It is not perfect however, as there are some things you have to consider.
1) The control valve on mine was pretty lousy. Fine control was nearly impossible and there was no float position. I replaced it with an American made valve, costs an additional $800.
2) The hose fittings on mine are a weird German/Metric DIN fitting. This makes finding the proper hoses kind of hard and impossible to have made locally. The dealership I bought from is totally useless in the hydraulics area and either sends out the wrong stuff or can't figure it out at all. There are after market suppliers but that makes prices go up and wait times can be a week or more.
3) Hydraulic fitting adapters are available for some of the hoses but not all. If you can convert to say JIC, then you can have hoses made about anywhere. Adapters are expensive.
4) There is no quick attach on the bucket and as far as I know there are no other buckets available.
5) The cutting edge on the bucket is welded on and would take quite a lot of work to replace. If mine ever wears out I will probably figure out a way to attach a new one.

The ZL is listed at 800# lift rating. On a good day it will do that but it is obvious that you have reached the design limits and only want to move that much weight rarely and carefully.
