Looking for fuel filter for DEK diesel generator

I am trying to find a supplier for a fuel filter for a DEK 6000 CLE diesel generator. I have found places in the USA that sell gas DEK generators and parts, but there doesn't seem to be anyone selling the diesel parts. Even overseas I have not been able to find one. The filter goes in the tank and looks fairly unique to me. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to tbn. Post a pick of the filter. It sounds like a air cooled yanmar clone. If so we might be able to help.

did some research usa phone numer is 1-855-600-4765 it states call between 6am and 4 pm est not sure if they are in the usa the web site is all priced in british pounds . if you want to look it site is generator guru

I have ordered several times and he os good to deal with. It appears your generator is a chinese clone of a yanmar if you need generic shop manuals pm me with an email address and I will send you what I have in pdf format.
