I'm looking for a quality hose reel cart with 2 or 4 wheels that can hold at least 150' 5/8 hose but preferably closer to 200' or 250'. I'm looking for quality, durability and hopefully, something made in the USA. I don't want to get into a discussion about the "made in USA" issue, so lets leave it at that.
I have some the original Rapid Reels (wall mounted versions...before they were made overseas) and have been very happy with them. They are about 15 or 20 years old and still going strong with lots of use. I see they have a this model which can be expanded with an "extra-capacity kit" as well as a "quad-wheel kit" which both appeal to me. The unit seems to get good reviews but it is made overseas. If I can't find something else then I will buy this one. Anyone have one of these? Is it well built and sturdy?
Also came across this model. It looks to be a good model...although I'm always wary of any product with the word "best" in its title. It seems to have everything I want. They also have a stainless model but that's over $600 and I don't want to spend that much. Anyone ever see one these in person? Does it look like a good unit?
Any other suggestions? I thought about making one but I have enough projects already and my time is precious. Thanks.
