I was looking on the John Deere website the other night and I saw a news release on the new John Deere EZTrac Mowers and I was wondering if anyone could Please give both myself and other readers more information including the following.

1. The collection system on the Arens Z-Trac Mowers use plastic buckets that are easier to unload than cloth bags. I know because a friend of mine owns one and I used it. Can you get plastic buckets for the John Deere Mowers.

2. Does anyone know the part number for the brosure, so I can let my dealer know what to order.

Thank You very much for your time

Have your dealer order DKA58 (Folder: EZtrak) and DKE052378. (Brochure: Residential Z vs. Residential Lawn Equipment)

Unfortunately I cannot find any option for plastic buckets in lieu of the cloth bags.

A few points... (even though you didn't ask for them) :D
1) Drive System: The base model Z225 uses a John Deere exclusive upgraded HydroGear EZT Transmission with 1" axles. The standard EZT that other manufacturers use continually snapped axles in Deere's durability test, so Deere had HydroGear re-design it with heavier axles. The larger Z425 & Z445 use the John Deere exclusive Kanzaki DUP10 (Dual Unitized Pump) versus the competitors two separate HydroGear pumps. This is the same DUP system that is used in Deere's commercial-grade, mini-frame Z-Trak Mowers.

2) Control Levers: All John Deere EZtraks utilize easy adjusting control levers which can be adjusted to three different height settings, as well as five different fore / aft settings. Not all of us are the same size, and this adjustability makes for a custom fit for almost any sized operator. All models also include a standard shock absorber on the control levers. The shock absorber modulates the movement of the levers for smoother operation, which allows even first time operators to precisely control the machine.

3) Serviceability: Every EZtrak mower features a simple, easy to use Tracking Adjustment. No matter what anyone tells you, zero-turn mower control levers need adjustment frequently. The Deere system allows you to adjust these levers from the front of the machine, in seconds!

4) Frame: All models of the EZtraks ae built on a heavy-duty frame with 1.5" x 2" steel tubing for long-term durability. This is the same frame that is used for the Deere commercial-grade, mini-frame Z-Trak mowers. The frame also feature a hinged footrest platform for easy access to the mower deck.

I think when you compare the Deere with others, green will come out on top!

Have you been able to see the new EZtraks yet?

We have sold two already. My bias oppinion is that they are the best home owners model z-tracks on the market. Go to your dealer and ask him to let you take a spin around the lot. I have not seen literature out yet.
