About a year ago I bought a Hydraulic Multiplier from A&I Parts to give my IH806 a second remote to operate my JD530 baler and AC Tandem Disk. Works great UNTIL -

A few weeks ago the tongue broke on my HarroGator and pulled the Multiplier out of the Female ISO fittings on the 806, breaking in half both of the Offset nipples that go between the valve body and the male ISO fittings of the multiplier.

This adapter looks to be 1/2" JIC Male Boss with a nut and O ring that go against the valve body of the Multiplier and a 1/2" JIC Male that goes into the male ISO fitting.

(I hope I have the terminology correct - sure not an expert here).

Anyhow, this adapter / nipple can be rotated to bring the ISO fittings closer together or farther apart to match the Female fittings on the tractor. Trouble is these adapters are both broken in half and I cannot find a picture / catalog with a replacement. I have emailed A&I and also have a local tractor supply place looking.

Anyone else be down this trail before and know where I can find these odd ball adapters - I have spent many hours looking at different on line catalogs already. Thanks, Steve Bosshard, Gatesville, TX

Steve, you are not going to find that "off the shelf", it's going to have to come from the maker of the valve. I am not familiar with A&I but Fasse has the same type setup-maybe they made the valve for A&I?

Short of that-if no parts can be found, then possibly two short hoses could be used instead of the offset fittings.

Thanks Kenny,

Turns out the Multiplier was labeled from The Ad-On Company, Kearney, NE. Same town as Fasse. No web info for the Ad-On Company - no reply from A&I Parts - just sent a note to Fasse with the Ad-On Co. Part Number 610180. Looks like Fasse may have acquired The Ad-On Company - will see. Good luck Steve...The short hose thing is a good option also if they can't help.

Got in touch with Fasse on the telephone - their pn is 210180 and for $26.10 each they will ship in the morning. Durn little adapters just wouldn't pull a 20 ft Harrogator. Thanks for the assist, steve

That nut and oring similar size to jic 1/2 probably means its an SAE 8.

Steve, I'm a little confused. The fitting you describe sounds like a male O-Ring Boss (which has the same threads as JIC, but no flare) x male JIC. That's actually a very common fitting. especially in the size you describe.

Does this look your fitting? SAE 37? Flare (JIC) x O-Ring Boss (ORB) Adapter

If so, any decent hydraulic repair shop should have these on hand, and for a lot less then the $26 you said you just spent.

By the way, the terms "SAE" "Straight Thread" "O-Ring Boss" and "ORB" are all commonly used to describe the same connection.

The #8 fitting (for 1/2" port) has a 3/4-16 thread, same as 1/2" JIC.

HHG, this is what he needs:

breaking in half both of the Offset nipples that go between the valve body and the male ISO fittings of the multiplier.

This "offset" or eccentric fitting allows the male QD's on the valve body to plug into differently spaced female QD's on the tractor.

kenny, were you intending to post a photo or a link when you said "this is what he needs?" I'm not familiar with offset fittings. Is this an adapter where one side is parallel but not on the same center line as the other side?

That seems to be what you're describing, but I haven't actually seen a fitting like that myself.
