( What about in Eatonton? Should be something there or are you north of I-20? )

I'm on the norht side. The farm is near Crawfordville and Union Point. I live in the Atlanta 'burbs, so I take I-20 to get there. Fuel is cheaper near ATL, but I don't always have room to haul fuel out there, and then I have to have a bunch of cans sitting in the garage until my next trip.

( The suggestion to buy home heating oil was the one I found sllightly amusing, I don't think there is an oil fired furnace in the entire state of Georgia....)
That statement is very amusing as many of my relatives are from south georgia, and they have had oil fired furnaces to heat their homes. They can be found here in Jacksonville, FL as well. Just becasue one doesn't have something, doesn't mean no one else does. They are still rather common all over. What would make sense is to look in the yellow pages under oils, fuel and just see if you can find a distributor. John
EDIT: I don't even live there, and can find distributors.

In West Georgia I buy off road from the local Amoco. And yes there is a difference in the sulfer content.

How does putting the red dye in it change the sulfer content?

I'm sure the poster didn't mean that because it's dyed the sulfur content is lower. It's because he buys it a station that only provides lower sulfur diesel than some off-road diesel such as I use from an oil distrubutor. John
